(Network marketing) Success Under Pressure
No commentsBy Justin Lukasavige
A man happened upon a butterfly just emerging from its cocoon. The longer he watched the young butterfly struggle to become free the more restless he became. Finally, when it looked like the butterfly would not make it out on its own the man took a pair of scissors and freed the new butterfly from its small home.
The man watched as the butterfly became free, but was horrified to see that its body was swollen many times that or a normal butterfly. It struggled to fly, but never left the ground its entire life. What the man did not know is that the struggle the butterfly goes through to become free causes fluid from its body to move to its wings so they can form fully.
Are you trying to shortcut your struggles? There is something to be said about shortening any learning curve as much as possible and I am certainly a proponent of that. There are some things however, that should not or cannot be shortened if you want to succeed.
How do you deal with adversity in your life? Do you face it head-on and devise a plan to over come it, or do you give up and do something else? Brick walls are often placed in our lives to show us how badly we really want something to happen.
Do you know anyone who has failed in business? Research shows that entrepreneurs fail about 4 times before getting it right and doing something successful. The key is learning from your mistakes and doing them better the next time around.
We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty. Maya Angelou
