Ads placement Increase Your (marketing) Earnings in Days
No commentsBy capil009
Many webmasters out there are making fairly substantial amounts of money from Google AdSense. But there is a good chance that they are not using the most effective methods of maximizing their earnings. I am not referring to on-page optimization of the ads placement. I will just assume that you have identified the best possible location for your ads already. However, there is a much simpler way of increasing your AdSense earnings by 5% - 20%. The key is to know that the very first Google AdSense block on your page carries the ads with the highest payout. These are the ads that will earn you the most money when a visitor decides to click on them. To make the most out of your AdSense ads, making sure your first ads are in the best possible position should be your main priority.
You will have to identify which AdSense ad block of yours is giving you the highest pay out and which ad block has the highest click-thru rate (CTR). If the two ad blocks are the same, then you are already in an optimal position and can begin to implement the other pieces. But chances are high that they will not be the same blocks and its there where you must make the necessary adjustments. So let?s begin. Use a separate channel in Google AdSense and monitor them for a day or two in order to build up solid data to later work with. If you?re currently using all your allowable AdSense channels, then swap some around. You will only need to use these channels for no more than a possible week.
With the data in your hand, you should be able to deduce that ad #1 is achieving the highest CTR and ad #2 is giving you the highest payout. Make sure you compare both CTRs to enable you to make a better informed decision. So lets assume that your current scenario matches this example. Your next objective would be to make the necessary changes to your page/template in order to make ad #1 load up first when the page is visited. Again, its important to note that Google distributes ads on a first come, first serve basis. So the AdSense block that the Google Bot sees first on your page, is the one that will advertise the most expensive ads. If you know a thing or two about html and CSS, then you will probably be aware of the fact that this is not necessarily the ad at the top of your page (but more to do with your table layout). Review your code if needed to make all necessary adjustments. CSS can also be a good way of positioning things around so that the most popular ad block has the highest payout.
In one cases when I put the information I described above to use, I was able to obtain a 15%+ improvement in my AdSense earnings. The work involved took no more than 30 minutes to deploy if you exclude the data gathering process. Easy money indeed!

Marketing Techniques For Your Success In Business
Adsense - Affiliate Marketing Programs
By capil009
Affiliate marketing gurus point out that niche websites are more successfull in generating and sustaining affiliate income in comparison to generic, all purpose websites.
The reason behind this is quite simple; niche markets logically create targeted visitors who are far more likely to be interested in related products and services, which is the reason they accessed your niche website.
Niche marketing is not really difficult; it basically requires concentrating your website on one particular area or category as opposed unsuccessfully trying to be all things to all people. By concentrating your resources and efforts in the development of specialized websites, you are more likely to succeed and win the affiliate marketing game.
Focus on a Specific Subject. The more knowledgeable a person is about a particular subject, the more confident your website visitors will be when they visit your website in search of related information.
Relate your Web Content to Complimentary Products and Services. When you have established your niche or specialization, immediately relate affiliate marketing to your content. This will result in a sizeable amount of targeted traffic who are directly interested in any or all of the products or services you promote through affiliate links.
Build a Niche Directory. Whenever you come across another website that may be of interest to your visitors, place a link to it in your links directory without even asking for a link back. Webmasters always look at their logs to see who visited them. When they see a link to them from another website, they will usually check out what your site is all about, and click through. You just received a visit from a highly targeted visitor. More importantly, search engines are also very friendly towards niche directories in the same fashion as they are to blogs.
Write Articles to Boost Your Content. Articles that relate directly to your niche website are valuable if used effectively. They act as beacon lights that draw visitors in and expose them to all the affiliate offerings that entice them to click-thru and make a purchase. Link articles on the same subject matter together to form a virtual chain. This keeps your traffic interest high and exposes your readers to more opportunities to click-thru an affiliate link.
Use Google Adsense Effectively. Everybody is talking and writing about Google Adsense and it’s a great income potential through placement of ads in and around your web content. Making effective use of the system by varying placement and emphasis of Google ads.
However, keep in mind that this is not a strategy for overnight or instant success. What you have come up with is a strategic niche website that turns itself into a steady income stream over a period of time.
As soon as the checks start coming in, brace your shoulders and get ready to create another niche website and repeat the whole process again. Only through this will you be able to relax and gain financial independence and literally just wait for the checks to come in.

Google AdSense Evolution
By capil009
The web has evolved into a complex “organism” which, to some, appears to have a life of its own. As the Internet has evolved, so too have online marketers and publishers. The dot-com balloon is said to have burst but savvy publishers have grabbed the coat tails of the Google search monster and employ Google AdSense on content-rich websites. Google AdSense, a pioneer for providing content-sensitive advertisements, has been a boon to webmasters looking for alternatives to amortize their web traffic. How Does Google AdSense Work? The concept is simple: The publisher or webmaster inserts a java script into a website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script pulls advertisements from Google’s AdSense program. The ads are targeted and related to the content contained on the web page serving the ad. If a web surfer clicks on an advertisement served from Google, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying Google for the click. Google handles all the tracking and payments, ultimately providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive, targeted ads, without the headache of having to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor clicks or track statistics, any of which could easily become a full-time job. While Google AdSense, like many pay-per-click programs, is plagued by claims of click-fraud, it is clearly an effective revenue source for many reputable web businesses. There seems to be no shortage of advertisers in the AdWords program from which Google pulls the AdSense ads. Webmasters seem less concerned by the lack of information provided by Google and more interested in cashing their monthly checks from Google. The Evolution of AdSense While Google’s initial system was fairly rudimentary, only providing publishers the option of displaying a handful of advertising formats, the technology behind even the first ads was anything but simplistic. The technology used to employ Google AdSense goes far beyond simple keyword or category matching. A complex algorithm is used to determine the content contained on the web page serving the ad. Once the content is assessed, and appropriate ads that contain related content are served. Early on, Google implemented a system that allows publishers to filter advertisements from competitors or sites which they deemed inappropriate. Google also allows vendors to specify an alternative advertisement, in the unlikely event that Google is unable to provide related content ads. The Progression of Google Google has come a long way in understanding the needs of publishers and webmasters. Google now offers a system that allows full ad customization. Webmasters can choose from twelve text ad formats and can customize Google advertisements to complement their website and fit into existing webpage layout. The options provided allow webmasters to select and create custom color palettes that match an existing website’s color scheme, making the ads a much more natural fit. Many sites have been able to integrate ads into their site design using different ad formats. Sample sites with integrated ads: Investing Partners - http://www.investing-partners.com Podcasting Tools - http://www.podcasting-tools.com . RSS Network - http://www.rss-network.com Online Reports Google recently took a huge step forward, providing publishers the ability to track their earnings based on webmaster-defined channels. Recent improvements to the Google AdSense reporting have resulted in webmasters having the capability to monitor an ad’s performance with customizable online reports that can detail page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. Webmasters now have the ability to track specific ad formats, colors and pages within a website. Webmasters can quickly spot and track trends. The new flexible reporting tools allows webmasters to group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, providing webmasters insight into what pages, ads and domains are performing the best. Reporting is real-time, allowing webmasters to quickly assess the effectiveness of any changes. The new reporting makes it significantly easier for webmasters to optimize and increase click-through rates. Optional reporting allows webmasters to monitor traffic, viewing both ad impressions and page impressions. Advertisers realize the benefits associated with having their ads served on targeted websites, increasing the likelihood that a prospective web surfer will have an interest in their product or service. Truth Still Not Revealed Google still does not reveal what percentage of the advertising revenue earned is paid to the webmaster serving the ads, but they have made strides related to disclosure, recently lifting the ban preventing webmasters from disclosing the amount they earn through serving Google ads.
